Stella Karpouzis

(Not sure if this is the right place, on enwiki this would go in ANI rather than AN, but it seems Commons doesn't have an ANI.)

A spammer has been creating promotional pages on enwiki, see en:User:Stella Karpouzis/sandbox. As part of her efforts she has uploaded photos of herself to Commons. It seems she has several accounts:

• @Bencemac: Not being a member of the VRT, I don't have a way to read that ticket, and the original uploader of File:ColognePride 2014 - Straßenparade-2368.jpg seems to have reverted to the very version that you want deleted, so I am very hesitant to take action here without some clarity about the reason. - Jmabel ! talk 01:46, 7 July 2024 (UTC)
  •  Not done @Bencemac: I do have VRT access and I have absolutely no idea how you came to the conclusion that those two files needed to be changed, or that the change needed to be to the background. The change the VRT ticket requested has been made to the correct file, File:ColognePride 2014 - Straßenparade-2377.jpg. No further action is needed. Suwanda Sitorus block evasion

Looks like block evasion by User:Suwanda Sitorus, who was blocked for uploading personal photos in 2019 and has evaded that block a number of times since. These two users are uploading images of Sitorus, some of which are clearly selfies, such as File:Sun Yingsha and Suwanda Sitorus at Asian Games 2018 (2).jpg (which may be a reupload of File:Suwanda Sitorus, Sun Yingsha, Asian Games 2018 di Indonesia.jpg from a previous sock).

Category:Suwanda sitorus rests empty between deletions, so should be deleted. Belbury (talk) 14:20, 7 July 2024 (UTC)

Help needed from admins speaking javascript

Aircraft vs. airplanes

I'm categorizing De Havilland DH.106 Comet into 1940s airplanes to distinguish between airplanes and other aircraft. But @Uli Elch: is reverting my changes as "faulty deletions". I was trying to diffuse the large 1940s aircraft into different types. They claim that I'm doing a "pure vandalism" to remove some entries from 1940s aircraft and put them under smaller 1940s airplanes. They have added that it won't be possible to "find individual aircraft/airplane types which have been arbitrarily distributed between two cats". 1940s airplanes is a subcat of 1940s aircraft. • Yes, "airplanes" are properly a subcategory of "aircraft". "Aircraft" is a broader category including dirigibles etc in addition to airplanes. -- Infrogmation of New Orleans (talk) 22:15, 9 July 2024 (UTC)
