Language-specific versions of Wikidata homepage banner

These files are not used anywhere, and their functionality is already provided by the multilingual version at File:Wikidata nodes in white.svg. Waldyrious (talk) 17:18, 7 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

In addition, the following two files used to have specific functionality not available in the main multilingual file (custom font-family), but that has also been integrated into the latter:

Wow, very interesting progress by Wikimedia, I guess this keeping of the translation inside the SVG is a recent feature? As this was uploaded in 2014 which this feature wasn't available I think. I won't comment on deletion or keeping the file, I wouldn't mind deleting it if that is what happened to other similar files but thanks for letting me know so I can use the feature for other purposes! −ebrahimtalk 20:55, 7 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, it's pretty cool! The feature has actually been around for a number of years, and there have been tools to make it easier to work with this; the currently recommended tool to work with them was developed in 2018 or so (see Commons:SVG Translate tool#History and meta:Community Wishlist Survey 2017/Multimedia and Commons/SVG-Translate for more details).
