Massacre them all! I never subscribed to the claim that these images are below ToO. —Best regards, Codename Lisa (talk) 18:09, 7 June 2017 (UTC)

Delete per LX at Commons:Deletion requests/Files in Category:Windows logos with wordmarks. — Jeff G. ツ 19:13, 18 June 2017 (UTC)
- My comments there are specifically about files based on File:Windows flag.svg (e.g. File:Microsoft Windows XP Logo 2.svg) with its combination of 3D effects, intersecting beveled edges, gradients and shadows. I'm not sure whether some or all of the files listed above are on one side or the other of the threshold of originality, but they're quite different from what I'm commenting on in the other discussion. —LX (talk, contribs) 19:21, 18 June 2017 (UTC)
- That's right. It is for this reason that my position in that page is quite different from that of this page. —Codename Lisa (talk) 05:44, 19 June 2017 (UTC)

Kept: the threshold of originality differs from country to country. Luckely we have some examples of logos from the US determined to be below ToO, see Commons:Threshold_of_originality#United_States - looking at those examples, it becomes clear that none of the files in this nomination are eligible for copyright. --Jcb (talk) 12:54, 2 July 2017 (UTC)
